JoveNata Ensemble chamber orchestra was formed in 2021 by the composer and conductor Michalis Trachalios and by a small cycle of exceptionally talented young musicians of the region of Thessaloniki, Greece. JoveNata is ensemble in residence of the Municipal Conservatory of Pylaia – Chortiatis. The goal and vision of the orchestra is the elevation and communication, both of the so called “classical” music and also of the contemporary creation, to a broader audience. In advance, a basic motivation of the ensemble is the continuous search of new ways of expression and the collaboration with other forms of art such as dance, literature, and theater. Adding to the above, JoveNata Ensemble explores the limits of music expression via performing new music and collaborating with musicians from different musical genres.
